Dear friend BENGT BIRVIN and MAY,
,this is an very important letter i am writing after
the big disaster by TSUNAMI at our place,i had
received many emails from our beloved ones who care
our childrens,but it took times for us to reply
you,many were afraid that what happened to us,by gods
grace we are very lucky and all our childrens,our
family,were safe and protected by supreme power.
on that day 26-12-2004 the morning started smothly,
we heard news in the morning 8 clock that there was a
big earthquake in indonasia,but we didnot realise that
it was comming on the way to our shores,we did not see
any animal and birds in the beach,but they didnot
cry,it was so silent,i was in the beach at the
restaurant there the disater starts,it was 8.56am the
first waves came 30meters height,the water level was
20 meters and the waves went up to 12 to 15 meters,it
brokes all the houses and took the boats flying in the
sky very high and smahsed the houses and buildings,the
water came to the land atleast 350metrs long and
stayed in the land for more than an half hour,
we were really amazed and shocked what to do because
for us it is very new and we were stunned.after the
water went in the sea we came out and watched what
happend it was very diifenent we thought mamallpuram
is finish,all the people run on the shore to pick the
things which the sea took in,suddenly another water
came higher than before and with big sound it reach
the shore that water took fifteen people who were on
the shore,we had totally 3 waves and 17times the water
went inside 1km far we never saw the sea like this
before in our life,even my ancestors,
after people started afraid to stay in the town ,we
had news spered the water will come in the land some
kiolmeters ,but we donotknow how far it will come in
the land,we all thought the water going to take the
land so people started running on the road to reach
sfe places , i was taking all by childerns and stared
running,we ran 35 km with the children without
food,after we got food from some people and we stayed
4 days in the place,our town and other sourounding
villages were completely empty for 4 days,people were
very afraid to come back to the town,all our childrens
are became very afraid and shocked ,they are disturbed
physicologically,
i was really want write to you immediately about the
situations but the town took 20days to come back
normal life.all things were broken communications
,elecricity,roads ,farmland all got very damaged,the
driking water was changed to salty after the
tsunami,all our childrens become sick in viral fever
because of the change drinking water,now we boil the
water long time and drinking,now they are better,
i hope you will understand the situations,
we are very thankful to god and all your good feelings
which proteceted us from this very big disaster,
we all pray for the Tsunami victims ,people died in
that,pray for us ,
